My grandmother and her two children survived the sinking of the Galway Castle. I am so sorry for your family's loss. I am researching our family history and wondered if you had any reports of the tragedy. I have newspaper reports.

In memory of my five Jamaican step-uncles who served in the British Army of WW-1. They became the first Jamaican born Officers to serve with honors. Four of these brothers died in action, and only one survived to serve again in WW-2 in the fall of Sigapore. All the information on
these men was lost for decades, and was researched bu UK Genealogist Alan Greveson to reveal the truth:Google: User Pages Info on Jamaican Police Inspector Herbert T. Thomas. My thanks to the UK for preserving my family's History that was erased in Jamaica. Gerald.
