OBIT: Valeria Carattinia, Illinois

CARATTINI -- Valeria( Violet) Marie Carattini, nee Kons departed suddenly from our lives due to a long illness that took her life on Nov. 4, 2003 at 7:50 p.m.
Devoted wife of Julio M. Carattini ll for 59 years, Valeria was born in Cook County, Chicago, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Marie Kons of Poland; brother, Edward A. Kons; and sister, Irene M. Kons. She is the beloved mother of and survived by Donnamarie (Carattini Kons) Boyer and Janet M. Carattini Kons. She is also survived by niece, Darlene Isaacson of Michigan; son-in-law, David J. Boyer; grandchildren, Jeannette E., Manny and Donna M. Nieto, Janet (Cachito) Habibe, Jaime Lopez and Froilan Ansa; and great grandchildren, Christian and Alex Diaz, Irmarie Berdecia and Jaime Lopez IV.
She lived in Chicago for 20 years and was an honor student of Harrison High. Nanny, as we all called her, will be missed forever and in our hearts and prayers until the one day we will be reunited forever. Then no one can separate us ever again because she believed in the words "family forever." "Mother, please remember the promise you made to me if you were to leave with God and your ancestors one day. I will pray the rosary for you every night until the day I die and we are together again." We Love You So Very Much !!!!! Your Family.
