Obituary of Nicholas Bogovich from the Warren Ohio Tribune-Chronicle Wednesday, November 28, 2001.

Niles--Nicholas Bogovich 73, 86 Fairlawn Ave., died 4:55 p.m. Monday Nov. 26, 2001, at St. Joseph Health Center. He was born Dec. 19, 1927, in Warren, a son of Thomas and Julia Krnyaich Bogovich, and was a lifelong area resident.Mr. Bogovich had worked 35 years at Grinnell as a machinist, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles, Infant Jesus of Prague Guild and Pipefitters Union Local 641 and the Niles Band Boosters.

An avid car enthusiast, he enjoyed traveling, doing body work and car shows and volunteered for several projects at Our Lady of Lebanon Shrine.In addition to his wife, Louise D. Naples Bogovich, whom he married July 11, 1953, he leaves three sons, Nicholas of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Joseph and Thomas, both of Niles; a sister, Angie Williamson of Warren; and three grandchildren. A brother, Michael is deceased.

Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Robert P. McDermott Memorial Home. The funeral service is 1 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
