Clarence E. ROLLS, 61, a former resident of Jackson County, died Saturday of a heart attack at his home in Thrall, Kas. He had just returned from a hunting trip when he was stricken. He was born in Lone Jack, and farmed in Jackson County before moving to Thrall about 30 years ago. He was employed by Greenwood County there. He was a member of the Lone Jack Baptist church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nellie ROLLS of the home; a son, Clarence R. ROLLS, Medford, Ore.; four sisters, Mrs. Viola SPEARS and Mrs. Willeta SCOTT, both of Pleasant Hill; Mrs. Vivian TAPSCOTT, Lee's Summit, and Mrs. Mark SHORES, Lone Jack; two brothers, Guy ROLLS, Lee's Summit, and Elmer ROLLS, Buckner, and one grandchild. Services will be at 3 o'clock Tuesday at the church; burial in Lone Jack cemetery.
