Simon E Dunn Died May 7, 1863 at Ft Morgan, AL.

On April 30 1863 Pvt Dunn was fatally injured when a cannon he and four other men were testing exploded.

He left behing his widow, Laura Ann Thompson Dunn, son William Preston Dunn and daughter Dora Estelle Dunn.
