OBIT: Joseph Maculuso, Michigan

Joseph "Guiseppi" Macaluso, 82 of 2154 McKee Ave. SW, a retired Chesapeake & Ohio Railway Co. coach yard employee, died Sunday morning at his home. (Died February 24, 1963)

Mr. Macaluso, who had retired in 1951 after 26 years with the railway, was a native of Sicily and had moved to Grand Rapids about 50 years ago.

He was a member of the Brotherhood of the Railway Carmen of America, Local 789 and of Our Laby of Sorrows Church and of its Crucifix and Holy Name Societies.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. C. Jack Aalders and Mrs. Dominic Coniglia; a son, Dominic; five grandchildren and six greatgranchildren. His wife, Mary, died more than 25 years ao.

Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Sorrows Church with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. The body is at the Ronan Funeral Home.
